Very simple App that shows where your memory is going. When needed, the App restores unused memory. I recently upgraded to 8 gbs and I can now see that the 4 gbs I had before was far too little for the way I use my computer. Helpful.

Frees memory. Boom.
Using Memory Freer has made my three year old iMac run like a Mountain Lion…good as new. I have purchased several apps but only a few have a permanent spot on my dock…Memory Freer is one of them.
Buy this. Best money Ive spent on a Mac app. It does exactly what it says in the description, and it does it well.
Quite simply, this app does what it claims. I can keep my mac running smoothly all day by periodically freeing up memory. Id call this a real time saver.
Definitely the best app of its feature out there.
and does it well
This app says it frees up your memory thats occupied by a bunch of nothing, and thats exactly what it does. Havent restarted Chrome in 7 months? Run this app twice. Havent restarted your computer at all in weeks? Run this app. Its almost as good as a full system restart and 15x faster.
My Macbook was getting slow, response was lagging. I read about this ap on line and thought Id give it a go. It was terrific right from the start. I keep it on my menu bar. Love the fact that it is so easy to use, and its fast. Cant say enough about it. I recommend anyone with a mac try it.
Does what I need it to without any bells and whistles. I thought I was going to have to go out and buy more RAM, but I realized that the same leaky programs that eat up my memory now would probably eat up the same obscene portion of more memory, given the chance. MemoryFreer helps me put off hardware upgrades for the time being. Would rather spend the $4. :)
Im running Parallels Desktop with Windows XP on my iMac running Mountain Lion (with 8MG memory), because I didnt want to give up my PC-based Mailwasher program and Quicken financial applications. Everything was fine until I bought and installed Kapersky anti-virus, which was recommended by Apple. Suddenly, the spinning rainbow wheel of death was my constant companion. Thank goodness I found this app. Its fascinating to watch the memory change as things open or close, and its annoying to have to wait a minute while memory is freed up, but thats so much better than sitting while the rainbow wheels comes and goes when youre trying to do something. Its fantastic to see when youre in trouble, and you can fix it before the spinning rainbow wheels start. Im purchasing an additional 8Mg of memory to give me a long-term solution, but am still very happy to have this app and will continue to use it even after adding additional memory. Does what it says, well worth it.
This works better than similar apps here in the app store. One thing, though, I like being reminded when my inactive memory gets to a certain point. What I really want, though, is an option to have it automatically run when the memory gets to the designated point.
Does what it says it does. I use it frequently, as I tend to run many apps simultaneously and have lots and lots of open tabs in multiple browsers open at the same time. OSX does a good job of managing memory, but occasionally things get tied up and thats when this little gem comes in handy.
simple good RAM cleaner. god job done on this app.
In an age where the frailty of technology can take your day from elation to frustration, this app provides peace of mind and increases efficiency for all types of users. If you dont have it, GET IT NOW!!
As someone who routinely uses memory intensive programs for processing 3D and 4D data, this is a nice utility to have and use! Keep up the good work!
You must have this .. very easy to use and probably the most used program on my task bar now.. Love it..
I keep a close watch on ram usage, but this app actually does it better than I do. It is particulary good for 2-system users. I run VMWare Fusion as well as OSX and it is invaluable.
Works as advertised. The best part is their active pie graph in the top menu bar. If things start to slow down, just look up to see if memory is nearly used up. Then push the button and clear it.
I really like this app for freeing up inactive memory. I tend to have a lot of windows open and use memory hogs such as Photoshop. Have not had crashes/hangs happen becuase of lack of memory at all since getting this app, and am very pleased with it! It is fast, unobtrusive, and works as promised.
