The app works as described. Fantastic!

But it looks like poop on a retina display, seeing as how its not optimized. Will get 5 stars once they fix that.
I have used others, and this one is more better than the rest. well worth the investment.
I was experiencing poor performance, and didn’t know why. I suspected a RAM issue, but the in-built activity monitor only got me so far. With this MemoryFreer and Activity Monitor I was able to narrow the problem down and finally figure it out. Thanks guys!
It actually encourages me to keep up on the junk on both my macs....I have it on my mac mini and my macbook. For that alone, its a good thing, and I like knowing when Im slowing down, that theres something to do about it. This lil app does it all. Thanks.
But this App merits one. It is simple and does what it’s supposed to do. And it acctually does it well…
Don’t purchase other memory cleaning apps, try this app first, then afterward after the app has done its magic and you see how fast the performance of your mac returns to its original factory speed, you would think just like I did, “I underpaid for this amazing, phenonomenal app”….great job mates.
This app does what it says it does, quickly and efficiently. My older iMac needs help to keep functioning, it slows down to a crawl and I get the spinning rainbow of death on a daily basis. Until I can budget for a newer model, I use multiple apps to keep things running. This one is great. I would highly recommend it.
All computers have hard drives. Macs may have a different OS than a PC but there is still memory loss. Although many will say Macs will run forever without doing anything, they are machines that have to be maintained and cleaned. This app works great at restoring memory. I use it first thing in the morning to restore memory before a busy day begins.
For the price how can you complain. Does what it says it will do, quickly and easily. Only complaint? Won’t autostart on booting ...
This is the best little memory ferring app Ive tried. It consistently frees more memory than other apps Ive tried. For about the cost of a soda you get a phenomenal little program that lets you reclaim inactive memory and get back to bisiness! Love it! :)
Had it on my old Mac Mini, just upgraded to a MacBook Pro and decided i would try it out on it, i can say it works flawlessly as far as i can tell on Yosemite and it freed almost 3GBs when i first installed it. The only drawback is its not optimized for the Retina Display so it looks pixilated. That is my single complaint. But all that requires is an update! Please update it!
i tested memory clean and memoryFreer extensively, for at least 4 months, before i chose which i wanted. i love this applicaiton over memory clean because it, in and of itself, is not its own memory hog, i.e., although memory clean does the same sort of cleanout, removing temporary files and cleaning as much cache as possible, memoryFreer cleans more. now how did i come to that conclusion? if you test memory clean (which i like too), you will determine that you must click on the clean memory bar numerous times before you get the max clean. it’s sort of like doing dishes one time or ten. memoryFreer cleans more faster. whenever i used either tool, i ran it more than once to see what gain i’d get. when i got to getting the most, i’d shut one program, then open up the other one, which was memory clean (for the past 30 days out of 4 months of the total testing time i allotted). i found it quite strange that memory cleaner, opened immediately after i had cleaned all i possibly could with this app had A LOT to clean! huh, i thought. why? how could it be that one RAM cleaner found more RAM to clean (? just where, after cleaning, did memory clean find so many other temprorary files to clean and waste my time?) when it said was all was clean? that does not make sense. what’s probably the best out of the two programs is this memory freer’s interface, a pie chart. there is more text in memory clean, although to me, that doesn’t matter. it could matter to you. the hardest part about double, triple, quadruple and more cleaning with memory clean was that after you did the first two, the third and fourth would lag a long time at around 98% clean, so i do not understand what else, and where else, it found memory to clean.i want a do-it-on-the-fly cleaner that wham, bam! cleans out unneccessary files in an instant. i had to reclean too many times in one sitting, in one occurrance, using memory clean. you choose between the two yourself when they are offered free. however, after those long months testing, i will stay with this lovely graphic MemoryFreer. thank you, developers, for such a good product.
I’m not sure that I’m using it correctly. I’d like it in my dock or menu bar, but it’s not in either of those places. It is in my Applications file, but that’s inconvenient, so I’ve placed it on my screen until I think of a better way to make it available when I want to use it. However, it’s not exactly unobtrusive, since it measures 3” by 3-1/2”. Can anyone make any better suggestions? I have another concern: is this little box showing Free, Wired, Active, Inactive, and Used, plus the pie-chart, the title of “MemoryFreer," and the “Free Memory” button all there is? Finally, I have to say that it worked…I think. I mean that when I clicked on the Free Memory button, the inactive slice of the pie was considerably reduced. I didn’t notice any difference in my computer’s operations, but I can see how that would be beneficial at times. I have given it three-stars until I know more about it
Amazing app, so useful, however, on a retina display the pie chart on the menu bar is really pixelated. Is it possible to fix this? Love the app!
I love this app. I leave the tiny window open all the time in the bottom corner of my screen so I can constantly monitor my available RAM. Even though I have 8GB available to me, I constantly push my iMac to its limits. This allows me to free up memory with one click, whenever I need more memory. I love it. Thank you.
My computer runs slow after running Photoshop and having many tabs open - I used to have to reset my computer alot in order to refresh it - now I just do 1 click and voila! Perfect app! Get it!
Great software, use it every day!
Thank you for this wonderful app, it is easy to use and I can see some positive results by this great app, that you offer at such a low price for all of us. It has saved me hours of work, so again, thank you and your staff for work well done! The Memory Freer has worked well every time, and has helped maintain my performance of my mac which has thousands of photos! It is simple to use and easy to understand, anyone should be able to use it with ease. Many thanks!
I do video editing and use programs such as After Effects, FCPX, Avid, and Red. For years I’ve been struggling with the Old Command way of clearing ram. Well not anymore. This has been amazing to work with. My programs run faster, my render times lower, and most of all I dont see any issues with screwy bugs as a result of some apps that take away needed itmes, This product works… 1000%. Great Job..
