Ok downloaded becasue of the good reviews. All true. Great App!! amazing how much memory it freed and how much quicker my Mac started to work. Worth the download. You will not be disappointed. Amazing. Dont know why Apple doesnt add this to the OS. Wow just Wow.

This app works great. Play with the preferences to make the most of it. If you want it to start automatically at start up first open SystemPreferences/Users&Groups/LoginItems. Then unlock Users&Groups by clicking on the lock in the lower left corner of the window. Next, open up MemoryFreer preference. Select "Automatically launch MemoryFreeer when I log in." You will see MemoryFreer appear under Users&Groups Login Items. Make any other adjustments to MemoryFreer Preference that you like. Finish by locking Users&Groups. Close both preferences windows.

It is a really good app, makes my Mac lot more faster

I’ve not experienced any lag using this app. It’s hard to tell if my computer runs better after "freeing memory” as it’s got 16gb RAM, so, it’s been kind of hard to bog down. Either way, no complaints here.

Does what it claims to do--simply, unobtrusively, and quickly.

It looks rather old fashioned or a bit newer than original Macs. But it does what it is all about to maintain right memory flow.

A simple program that meets their job for that kind of money.

Thanks to developer. Its the simple and effective tool and helps my macbook with 2 gb mem very much.

Sometimes it freezes system. Also there is no automatic mode, unfortunately (without user interaction).

Simple, elegant and works evertytime. Pie icon in the menu bar is a nice touch as well as the alert when inactive memory exceeds a user defined level.

So many apps claim to free up memory, but I can 100% attest that this does the job beautifully. It clearly shows the memory that is freed-up, and you can monitor the current state of memory usage at all times via the menulet at the top of your screen. I do agree with the others who suggest an improvement whereby the app would indicate when a certain threshold of memory usage has been reached to signal the need to use the app or to be able to actually set it to a specific level of memory usage at which point the app automatically runs. It would also be helpful to have a bit of an explanation (or glossary) of the four parts of the chart. All-in-all, highly recod to others!

This keeps my little system running great. I have a small amount of memory (4 GB) and it keeps everything running very smoothly. When I run Parallels I have not memory issues - Thanks for a great app.
